SkyMet forecasts an increase in southwest monsoon activity over the next two days in parts of South-West Arabian Sea, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Western and Northern West Bengal.
At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is observed over the Gulf of Mannar near South Tamil Nadu coast, which may lead to a cyclonic circulation over Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Cyclonic circulation is also observed over Gujarat. A cyclonic circulation is expected over Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
