Now you can withdraw money from ATM by scanning QR code from UPI app


You will soon be able to withdraw money from an ATM without a debit card. Indeed, ATM maker NCR Corporation has launched the first interoperable cardless cash withdrawal solution based on the UPI platform. This will allow you to withdraw money from ATMs by scanning the QR code through the UPI app.

City Union Bank has teamed up with NCR Corporation to set up an ATM with this special facility. The bank has so far upgraded more than 1500 ATMs with this facility.

 First open any UPI application (BHIM, Paytm, GPay, Phonepe, Amazon etc.) on the smartphone.

>> Then scan the QR code on the ATM screen.

>> Now put the amount on the phone. Currently you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 5,000 through this facility.

>> Now confirm by clicking on the Proceed button.

>> Now enter your 4 or 6 digit UPI PIN number.

>> You will get his cash from the ATM.

What is UPI?

Unified Payment Interface / UPI is a real time payment system that can instantly transfer money to a bank account through a mobile application. With UPI you can link bank account with many UPI applications. Many bank accounts can be managed through the UPI application. Bhim, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Phone Pay, etc. are UPI apps in which you can transfer money by linking to your bank account.
