Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification on 6th April regarding the CRPF Constable Recruitment of approximately 1,29,929 constables in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), with a 10% reservation for Agniveers. The CRPF official notification is published in the Gazette of India.

The CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023 notification is as follows, “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949 (66 of 1949) and in supersession of the Central Reserve Police Force Group ‘C’ (General Duty/Technical/Tradesmen) Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2010 in so far as they relate to the post of (General Duty Cadre), Constable, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) in Group ‘C’ post, General Duty Cadre in the Central Reserve Police Force.”

The total number of vacancies available is 129929, out of which 125262 are for male candidates and 4667 for female candidates (subject to change based on workload).
The position falls under General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial Combatant) and is classified under the Level-3 pay matrix with a salary range of Rs. 21700-69100. Selected candidates will be required to undergo a probationary period of two years.... 

CRPF Constable Recruitment Notification 2023 Age Limit under is as follows –

The age of candidates applying for the position should fall between 18 and 23 years, with a relaxation of five years for Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes candidates and three years for Other Backward Classes candidates.
The date which will be considered for determining the age limit will be specified by the Staff Selection Commission in the advertisement.
Additionally, the upper age limit for candidates from the first batch of Ex-Agniveers may be relaxed by up to five years, while for candidates of Ex-Agniveers, the upper age limit may be relaxed by up to three years.

To be eligible for the CRPF constable (GD) posts, candidates must have passed Matric or an equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by either the Central Government or State Government.
For Ex-Army personnel, an equivalent Army qualification will also be accepted. Additionally, candidates are required to meet the physical and medical standards that the Central Government has prescribed from time to time.
In order to be considered for the position, candidates must pass both the Physical Efficiency Test and the written examination, as specified in the recruitment advertisement for Constable (General Duty).
Note: Ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
